There are times I actually enjoy perusing through the isles at Whole Foods examining the variety of products and packagings available. I must say I’m definitely the type of person to try new products and am always on the lookout for my newest acquired food obsessions.
So if you are curious and want to try new things, here are my latest recommendations:
Siggi’s Icelandic Yogurts
These yogurts are similar to the Greek yogurts out there but BETTER. They have these great flavor combinations like Orange & Ginger or my favorite by far Passion Fruit & Pomegranate. Thick, creamy and loaded with protein – 14 g per container.
Imagine – Organic Lemongrass and Corn Soup
If you love corn and if you love lemongrass then this soup is for you. So much flavor yet nutritious and healthy. The packaging is a great plus too, easy to open and store in the fridge, unlike canned soup.
Rhythm Kale Chips
These are soooooo good but they can be a bit messy to eat. In delicious flavors like Curry, Nacho and Ranch, they are packed with flavor and even more nutrition – rich in powerful antioxidants, phyto nutrients and carotenoids. Kale is also an excellent source of Vitamin A, C, K, B6, Calcium, Manganese, Iron, Potassium, and fiber. The only downside? These are quite expensive – about $6 a bag.
Justin’s Maple Almond Butter – Single packs
These single serving packages are great for portion control. If you are an almond butter lover like me, then you know what I’m talking about. The maple flavor is subtle but delicious. I love to spread it on toast or with some fruit, like apple or bananas.
Organic Bistro – Thai Yellow Curry with Chicken Bowl
I’m a convenience girl. And sometimes I just don’t have time or energy to cook a healthy meal. These organic frozen entrees are fabulous! They are super flavorful and have yummy quinoa, mixed vegetables and the curry sauce is actually really tasty! They are quite healthy too – containing only 7 grams of fat and 290 calories.
